Frombork , known as the Jewel of Warmia, and Copernicus Castle is a place where the great Polish scientist spent 33 years of his life. It was here that he wrote his work "On the Revolutions of the heavenly bodies" nearly five centuries ago! Walked these streets and looked out the stars in the sky. In this town also died and was buried in the cathedral. When Swedish researchers have confirmed that the remains found in our cathedral at the end of 2005 year, belong to Nicolaus Copernicus, all eyes have been on our town. ceremonial burial of the remains of astronomer on 22 May 2010 in Frombork Cathedral.

Copernicus Tower , the oldest part of the fortifications of the Cathedral Hill. Built before 1400, rebuilt several times higher floors in the fifteenth - eighteenth century, burnt down in 1945, reconstructed - the work was completed in 1965, was owned by the Tower of Nicolaus Copernicus in the years 1504 to 1543. The tower houses an exhibition Fri Renaissance scholar Cabinet - historic interior design studio is a reminder of Nicolaus Copernicus.
